Wow. I am so tired tonight, Wednesday is always a tough night for me, mid week, two nursery days done and I still have 2 more days until the weekend...lets hope they go fast! I have had a nice two days at work though, there is no other job where you can get lovely cuddles all day long! So, I have been thinking about doing a post about fashion for a while now. I am in NO place to offer fashion advice...I am not trendy, I do not own anything designer and the way I see it, what looks great on one person may not work on another so who I am to give advice? However I thought I would do a little post about places I like and little tips I have picked up on the way.
I have developed a serious addiction to online clothes shopping recently. I don't get much time to go to the shops and whilst it is nice to see clothes in real life before you buy them, getting them online is so much easier. ASOS is perfect because you can return for free if you don't like the item...which I tend to do a lot! I also get a lot of my clothes on Ebay, you have to patient to search through things but I have got some great vintage items...my best buy was a cute rabbit print dress from Motel for 99p when it's worth 40 quid! My trick is to bid with 15 seconds to spare, doesn't always work though!
I love anything nautical and anything with animal prints-horses, birds, rabbits, cats, you name it...I want it! I have found the best places for unique clothes are Forever 21 (I often buy on their website but I would advise going to their shops because their clothes often look VERY different to what they do on a computer screen). I love H&M but their site charges a lot of delivery and I don't often like to pay for delivery unless I love the item...my tip is never buy an item from a clothes site without looking for a voucher code first (just type in the name of the shop and "discount code" into Google)..if it is a high street chain then you can almost always get a code which gets you at least 10% off. I don't buy it otherwise lol :p
Another tip I mentioned before is that if you are consious of your weight (like moi) then buy a size up. I don't even care what the label says to be honest, if you feel comfortable in something who cares what size it is? I have bought clothes 3 sizes bigger before just because I feel more confident. Places like Primark are rubbish for sizes so I always get a size up.
Last tip before I fall asleep...look in the kids section of clothing shops. No joke, you CAN get some good stuff and it's much cheaper. For example, places like New Look go up to around age 15 and often it is made with the right material, it can fit an adult size without looking too clingy. Obviously you don't want to be wearing a Pepper Pig top when you are 25 but I have seen some really nice stuff in the teens section of H&M and New Look!
Well I will stop there because I am tired and my writing is starting to suffer (excuses, excuses!). I am off to eat Michael's amazing home made lasagne.....to end my post here are three items I really WANT RIGHT NOW!
xoxo
Navy dress from Oliver Bonas
Navy (again) dress from Joy

And I have the worst Forever 21 addiction....literally look on their site like twice a day. And they actually have a plus size section which is great because due to my huge boobs I dont fit into a lot. But now I know more of your personal style I can finally get you a good gift since Ive been shitting out on a lot over the years :p
