Cheryl goes....shopping!

Posted by Cheryl at 18:12
It was payday today so I made the most of my last proper shopping day for a while and made some nice purchases! Normally I avoid Primark like the plague because it's always too busy, not the best place for someone who panics easy! I make the occasional visit to a big store and never noticed how nice their 'Home' range is. In the Croydon branch of Primark they have quite a big section and I picked up some really lovely bits and pieces-all pink of course. We have a lot of decoration in our room but I am always buying bits here and there. I dragged my poor mum around many shops but we had a tasty lunch in Wimpy (their milkshakes are so good).

The Love cushion was just so cute, I couldn't resist! It was only a fiver which I thought was very reasonable. I also got two cute tea towels which may double up as table covers, one has a really nice bird print and the other says 'Keep calm and eat cupcakes' which is generally my life's motto. They were only £1.20 each and to be honest I don't really want to use them as tea towels! I also bought a super cute sign that says 'Sugar and spice and all things nice'-it was only £4! Something like this would cost more than a tenner elsewhere so I had to buy...even though we have no room for it whatsoever. I also bought this adorable nautical bag for £4-I am so obssessed with anything sailor style so it was a must buy. The strawberry print dress was £12.99 from H&M. I am a massive fan of H&M clothes, they are always really good quality and their prices now actually rival that of Primark. I have been wanting a strawberry print dress for ages so now all I need is strawberry earrings ;)I am hating how I look right now in general so please excuse my tired face, I try to hide it with a smile...

I am feeling completely exhausted today, I just hope I am not coming down with anything. I get tired a lot and I do worry that I lack a lot in vitamins which is something I really need to fix. I am going to try and relax as much as possible tonight but I always seem to find something to do. Tomorrow I am seeing my lovely friend Lucy and we're going for some lunch and to the cinema! :) On Sunday I am hoping to relax and get everything prepared for work on Monday which is actually an inset day.

Hope you all have a great weekend whatever you do-apoligies for the very boring blog post but sometimes I just don't have much to say! My hotpot was a pretty good success last night and Michael enjoyed it and gave me some good pointers on how to improve next time. I really will just leave it to him from now on probably but I feel like I really should attempt to cook sometimes as he puts so much effort into making me meals when he is tired too! I am blessed xoxo
