Thanks to those who gave me some lovely feedback regarding my blog post yesterday-whether it was on here, Twitter or Facebook. I really have no problem being open and honest and hope to continue to post in the future about ways to cope and hope my advice is useful to someone! I would like to do a post next week about IBS too-I have suffered from it for about 7 years now and whilst it's not something which takes over my life, it isn't a very nice condition to suffer from but like my anxiety, I have discovered ways to cope so I will share that with ya'll soon!
I had a fab moment today where I totally slapped my anxiety across the face! I normally hate going to Oxford Street (crowds=panic) but it's not only a shopping mecca but also the location of one of my favourite stores Forever 21-so I make sure I visit when I feel I can. I didn't panic at all today and for me, that is a nice achievement.
I'm having so much fun these holidays-I have got to spend some lovely quality time with my mum and also as Michael has the same holidays as me-that means lots of fun days out! We went to see Hunger Games yesterday (I did want to see Titanic 3D but it's not out yet...) which I thought was a quality film. We also went for a walk along Richmond riverside and stared enviously at the huge houses, guessing how much they are worth. I love doing that! Maybe if we win the lottery?! A girl can dream.
I am really excited to go to Arundel next week-we are only there for a few days so I have got my planning hat on and trying to fit everything in is a challenge! We want to go to the castle and to the Wetlands centre (for which I managed to wangle a 2 for 1) and there is also a mini golf there-a big love of ours! I can pretty much guarantee it will rain like it does on all our trips, lol. No doubt I will take lots of pictures and I will put some on here! Also I am planning to see some friends next week and try and squeeze in a trip to Toby Carvery! Before I know I will be back at work and moaning how tired I am...
I have been *pretty* good this past week regarding my shopping addiction-I did buy this very cute dress from Motel Rocks the other day on Ebay-I got it for £4 when it's worth £50, that is when staying up past 2am has its benefits! You can't see it in the picture but it's covered in moons and stars-yay!
Look out for some slightly more exciting blog posts soon...I promise! Until later xoxo
